Spring Cleaning

And it's not even Spring yet.

I went through my My Documents folder. Over the years it's been a repository for anything I randomly come across that I think might be worth keeping for future reference. I ended up deleting about half of the files in there. Nothing irreplacable, just stupid stuff like song lyric text files and game walkthroughs from GameFAQs and mix CD track lists. And then I went through it and threw all the pictures into a subdirectory and called it a day. If I'm feeling gutsy tomorrow, I might tackle another keyboard cleaning.

You know, I've said it before but Daikatana isn't an awful game. It's just painfully mediocre. And nothing illustrates this more than when you're given your sidekicks. They're hardly gun-toting henchmen, they're more like wayward children that require your more than their share of your attention to babysit them. And it's almost as though Ion Storm forgot to give them better intelligence than being able to follow the leader or traverse waypoints. No really. They're more of a burden than a boon. Thank god the game takes them away at the beginning of episode 2, they were driving me nuts.
