Bored and Tired
So I'm in class. And bored. So I've been reading over OLD entries. I was so much more vocal then. More verbose even. But all I ever do is whine about work and school. Eh. Oh well. I guess I'm still whining about work and school.
Tomorrow is Friday. The day before the weekend. Here at Ft. Gordon, we live for our weekends. It's almost the only thing we have to look forward to. Nielsen hasn't seen Team America: World Police yet so Meeker and I are going with him to see it for the second time. Meeker got her POV (privately owned vehicle) last weekend and I'm pretty sure she got her POV packet approved. No more expensive taxis! And I'm still playing the waiting game on my car. It looks like Katie and Chris are going to bring it down the weekend of Halloween. And that is outstanding.
So I had an assignment to go to Ft. Campbell, KY after AIT. Then that got deleted. I still have no assignment and now my instructor says that Ft. Gordon is on Stop-Movement (where no one stationed here leaves or retires until Ft. Gordon is up to 100% strength) so there's a good chance I could get stationed here. It's no Alaska or Korea or even Ft. Campbell but I could live here for a while. I don't think they're deploying out of here either, especially if they're on Stop-Movement. Here's to the unknown future!
