PFC Hubbard (and Apparently I Won)
Yes, I've been promoted. Nothing nice like being promoted early or anything, this is just what I get for a full year as a PV2. Now I'm a Private First Class. Now I can work on getting some computer certifications before I get my next promotion to Specialist. And once I hit specialist I intend to put in a warrant officer packet and then things get fun. Six weeks of warrant officer school and then I'm sure I'll have something like an AIT after that. But first the certifications.
I'm home. And very happy. I've already sent my uniforms to be updated and cleaned, gone to the commissary, played some Doom 3, and watched an episode of Buffy with Katie while eating a home-cooked meal. I haven't even been home for 24 hours!
So while I was gone, Katie said she got an email from Comcast saying I won an mp3 player. I guess there was a promotion going on when I signed up for cable. It's a Creative MuVo 128mb. It's rather nice and small and I was planning on getting an Ipod Shuffle but now I won't need to! I'm listening to MC Chris on it as I type.
