And finally, pictures.

I just emailed my mom a bunch of pictures so I figured this would make a good opportunity to cut-and-paste the descriptions and make an entry! Pictures beyond...

This is where I live. Kind of a mess right then. I share a room with five other guys so there's not a ton of space.

The entry to the bunker I live in. Note the no smoking sign that seems to attract smokers to the entry.

The door to the shop I work in. The sign was made by some unit before us, none of us have the time to do something like that.

Or maybe we do. That's my co-workers hard at work. They're playing an old Magic: The Gathering game. That chair to the right is in my corner.

This is the tent on the mountain. We have a tan solar shade over it now. We'd probably be cooking in that tent without it.

A panorama I made from on top of the mountain, shrunken down to useless size.

This one was taken on a convoy back to my base from another base. Luckily I was in a truck with a better view than a humvee so I got some decent and blurry pictures. This is some kids playing soccer. World cup is coming up soon.

Same trip. A couple of kids waving at us just as we came through the checkpoint back onto our base.

And a weird one! A dust storm made the sky orange one day. I got a couple of pictures but this was the best.

I'm spent. I've got a ton that are way too boring or unflattering to post so this will have to do till I do more exciting things or become a better photographer.
