Work sucks. I'm on a 24-on, 24-off schedule which means I spend a day out in the middle of nowhere with little/nothing to do but be miserable and then a day back at home. It is better than spending another week out there and being off half the time is better than nothing.
I've dug up my PDA. I didn't take it to Iraq and that was a good decision and now I'm trying to find ways to work it into my daily life. Of course my primary concern is with games though so the first thing I do is look for another pirate copy of Ultima Underworld for it because that was simply the best way to play it. It never fails that I can't find anything I want when I want it so UU is nowhere to be found and now I'm stuck playing with DOSBOX ports. Hopefully I'll be able to weasel the PDA into playing Ultima Underworld or Ultima 7.
Katie and I watched the pilot episode of Sliders on DVD tonight. It was pretty good, if a little cheesy, and the production values were pretty high. Here's hoping the rest of the series is good!
