I hate the Army’s promotion system.

It’s a shadow of its’ former self and missing everything bad I had to say about the promotion system and I don’t have the will to work up a furor and write all out again. So here’s the long and the short of it; if you suck your first sergeant’s dick enough to get a board appearance, you’ll get promoted to E5 or E6. Leadership abilities or job proficiency be damned.
Original: The Army’s promotion system beyond E-4 is garbage. It is not designed to promote the best people for the job but the ones who play to system’s requirements.
Lots of words ahead that no one will read. TLDR: Working hard won’t get me promoted so I have no desire to work hard.
Promotions to E-5 and E-6 are conducted in two parts, a promotion board appearance and meeting promotion points. In order to get a promotion board appearance you must have at least six months time in grade. You must also be recommended for a promotion board appearance which means your platoon sergeant tells your first sergeant you’re ready to go. In order for him to do that you must prove to him you’re ready and you can be promoted. Part of this is having the minimum number of points to be promoted by the end of the board appearance, which is 350. You get 150 from your commander and (usually) 150 from the promotion board, which means the other 100 you have to come up with on your own.

The army promotion system is crap. right now im in an mos thats 798 and been there for years and its just dropped to 770 in sep, 751 oct. 744 in nov, now that dec is coming up it just jumped up to 798 (max is 800) so getting promoted is bullshit in the army. I have 715 points right now. only reason i didnt get picked up is due to all the cheating ass MO*$* FU*# that cheat. 3 ways to really cheat,, one have someone hook you up with a 300 APFT card and a M16 score card of 40. and the Third that pisses me off is the fake degree you can buy online. yep fake ass degree, you know how many times i hear of shit bags picking up SSG (E6) by doing just those 3 things tons, Even heard of a warrent officer doing it to. I HATE THE ARMY, I HATE AMEARICA AND I HATE EVERY FAKE ASS THING ABOUT MY COUNTRY I HOPE IT GETS ITS ASS FUCKING KICKED. FUCK YOU UNCLE SAM

There is no question that it is not a fair system my promotion is at 798 also and if i do it honestly then i will have achieved far greater pride in my accomplishment than if i bought degrees online. As far as the getting hooked up with a pt card or score card i don't know what kind of fucked up unit you are in but that shit is not even possible, we have graders on our pt tests and on the m16 range and they submit all the scores. To be honest you sound like a worthless pussy who should or more likely is getting chaptered out for failure to adapt. grow up little child and stand on your own 2 feet for once in your life mommy is not here to make sure everyone plays nice. Worthless POS oh Yeah and Fuck you I wish you would get deployed with all the soldiers you just disrespected and maybe when the shit hits the fan they just look the other way and you get fucked up.
