He said that you WILL get in U of I. No "ifs, ands or buts" about it. He mentioned SAT scores - I told him you scored very well in that. So you will have NO problem getting in U of I. No waiting list. Just apply and state that you are a veteran. He wouldn't mind talking to you. So when you get home and come over for a visit, I'll get you two together.
